Its a wrap and we definitely mean that in a good way! The CEO of The Tesla Group has been hard at work with her first ever Executive Produced television series called "The Trend". We blogged a while a back about the stiff competition for a co-host alongside DJ Mad Linx, but since then things have been smooth sailing with four segments shot in various locations of New York to complete the pilot.

Justin Combs Sweet 16 Birthday Bash at M2 in NYC

Justin Combs celebrated his SUPER Sweet 16 saturday last night at New York City’s M2 Nightclub.



The theme for the event was “I Am Prince” (Based off of Diddy’s “I Am King” campaign) and Justin Combs brought rapper, Nicki Minaj as his “princess”/date. Other guests and performers at the event included Trey Songz, Fabolous, Heavy D, the cast of Jersey Shore, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Teyana Taylor, Diggy Simmons and more.



He received a $10,000 check at the end of the night, and donated the ENTIRE amount to Yele Haiti.

Looks Like There's A New Situation: Jersey Shore Cast looking for a Raise

Seems as though the cast of 'Jersey Shore' has a case of 'Hills'-itis. Like their slightly less buff brethren in Cali, Snooki, Pauly D and Co. are reportedly playing hardball with MTV in order to beef up their salaries for season 2 of the hit show.

According to TMZ, sources connected with the negotiations reveal that the cast has rejected offers to give each 5 large, er, $5,000 per episode in addition to a $10,000 signing bonus. But with the show being such a big hit -- the season finale attracted 4.8 million onlookers -- they have demanded much bigger raises. Sources say MTV bumped up the offer to $10,000 per episode, but they haven't responded. So, that's the situation regarding those lovable, mostly Italian-American 20-somethings.

Some members of 'The Hills' reportedly scored $100,000 per episode of that MTV franchise.

More from TMZ: "We've also learned MTV has a contractual hold on the cast for another year, so technically Snooki and company have no right to renegotiate -- but it's done all the time with hit shows."

Meanwhile, police say fans of the show deluged a New Jersey nightclub Friday night, forcing the closure of a thoroughfare and leading to the arrests of four people. Property owner Dick Grabowsky told the Newark Star-Ledger that about 2,000 people showed up at the 501 Lounge in Montclair on Friday night. He says the club has a capacity of 800. Can we say RAISESE????

Montclair Police Chief David Sabagh says fights broke out among the crowds who gathered for the advertised meet and greet with the cast of the hit reality TV show. Four people were arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and drunken driving. Police closed a stretch of the main business strip outside the club for two hours.

Female Mix Tape Artists Making Their Mark

Like many other industries out there the mixtape world is a male dominated world, however there are a few new women trying to break that trend. Dondria and Krys Ivory, are all holding it down for the ladies.



Dondria is the YouTube singer that got signed to So So Def, we have her mixtape on repeat. Dondria went the typical mixtape route and remixed some bangers. She gets on some of the hottest tracks from Robin Thicke, Musiq Soulchild, Drake, etc. Dondria holds her own on every track, Jermaine Durpri should be proud. A publicist gets press coverage for his/her client. The publicist is often the middleman between a high-profile personality and members of the media. She usually wants her client to receive positive acclaim, but many publicists surveyed noted the old adage that "the only bad publicity is no publicity." Publicists also perform damage control, attempting to counteract any undesirable press coverage the client receives.

This position as "last line of defense" is what distinguishes the adequate publicist from the extraordinary one. Good publicists can turn scandal into opportunity and create valuable name-recognition for their clients. Publicists don't only work for the famous. Sometimes they work for a little-known person or industry and create reasons for them to receive press coverage. In a case where a company desiring publicity is hampered by its esoteric nature or technical jargon, the publicist must translate its positions into easily understandable language.

A major part of the publicist's day is spent writing press releases and creating press packets, which have photos and information about the publicized person or company. Publicists spend a lot of time on the phone. They put in long hours, and most receive little financial reward in return. They operate under hectic conditions and must adhere to strict deadlines which coincide with publicity events, such as the release of a movie or the publishing of a book. They have to ensure that they get the appropriate information to the media in time for the event they are generating publicity for, such as a record release or automotive sale. They must always be available for comment (even when that comment is "no comment") and remain friends with the media, no matter how demanding the desires of both clients and the reporters on whom they depend. But at the end of the day, they go to the hottest parties in town, the ones for their clients.
